Susan B. Lyon has found meaning and delight through anthroposophy as presented by Rudolf Steiner for more than 20 years. Those years spun threads of learning and interest which eventually led her to a Master’s in Education through Antioch University New England in 2019, with a Transdisciplinary Focus on Healing Education.
Ultimately, Susan’s master’s work led to incorporating The Energy Codes by Dr. Sue Morter into her master’s paper, Weaving the Fabric of Our Humanity — A Combining of the Threads of Biography. Susan found Morter’s clear, strong and current voice of guidance toward embodiment as being truly in alignment with our changing landscape of human challenges and capacities in this modern time.
Certifications completed in recent years include those of becoming a Facilitator Trainer of The Energy Codes, a Practitioner of BioEnergetics Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.), Spiritual B.E.S.T. & Remote B.E.S.T., as a BodyAwake® Yoga Instructor, and as a Certified Energy Codes® Coach.
Susan’s background also includes certifications in LifeWays Childcare and Human Development, Waldorf Collaborative Counseling, Biography Facilitation and Spacial Dynamics.
Susan served as a Novalis Institute board member for twelve years and as teacher for the Little Sprouts – parent & toddler – program at City of Lakes Waldorf School for six years. She has four adult children through whom she experienced the school communities of both Minnesota Waldorf School and City of Lakes Waldorf School during their grades and middle school years.
